This is going to be a short post seeing as it's the middle of the night but I was up with Cayden a little bit ago and was having some trouble going back to sleep. We're moved in! We closed on the house last Monday (the 1st) and spent last week getting moved in. A huge shout out to my parents and some precious friends for all of their amazing help. Moving with a 5 month old is hard work and we're so blessed to have family and friends that are so helpful! We're still living out of boxes and have things everywhere...a state in which I have come to despise, but we'll get there. It has made it much worse because over the last few days I have contracted a sinus infection that has left me feeling awful and unable to do much of anything productive. It's all that I can do to tend to my child all day so the unpacking has been put temporarily on hold. For me anyway. Collin gets after it when he gets home at night. Last night, he wore Cayden around in the Baby Bjorn putting stuff together while I laid on the couch and ate popsicles (thanks Larissa, they were great and totally helped my throat!). I just want to take this moment to say that my husband rocks - he's hard working and encouraging and supportive...how did I ever get so lucky?!? Alright, sappy moment over. Anyway, I went to the doctor yesterday and was put on medication so I'm hoping to be feeling much better very soon. And thanks to popping Advil every 4 hours I've been able to keep my temperature fairly regularly below 100. So, that's what's going on with us in a nutshell. We're exhausted and things are a little crazy right now, but we're in the house and loving it here! I will post more later. Also, please say a prayer that Cayden does not get sick. He has developed a yucky cough but thankfully it's a dry cough and he hasn't run any fever.
